Artist Bio

michelle: I make things. I make weird things that have feelers and feel you when you feel them. I don't mean that in a dirty way. I like to play with things. I also don't mean that in a dirty way, but I don't really mean it in an innocent way, either. I like to create nebulous things, transient things, primordial things, preverbal things. But I also like words. I like shiny things, sugary things, viscous things, heavy and runny things that probably feel like holding a jellyfish or a ziplock baggie full of melted slurpee that's been left out in the sun- all syrupy and congealed. Have I mentioned I like shiny things? I make art babies.
